@@GedmisLaguna I can agree, but it's also a matter of practicality. A classic quartz mvmt consumes less power, so the battery lasts significantly longer. These kinds of watches need a battery change every 2 years. Classic quartz batteries lasts anywhere from 5-8 years... and some even more (Casio). I mean, maybe it's not such a big deal, but it's still a significant trade off, and the benefit is almost non-existent. For instance, I rather count in seconds than in quarters of a second, and it's much easier to learn a rhythm of 1 second. Plus, watching a hand nervously "twitching" 4 times in a sec gets tiresome, pretty fast. ;) But well, we all have different preferences. Tho, I'm a bit frustrated that it's hard to find a classic quality made quartz on the budget on Ali express. It's all either low end watches for $20, or good quality watches but with a hi-beat quartz. And, on the other hand, there are heaps of beautiful mechanical watches... which is just a great pity.

@@GedmisLaguna 1beat/sec also makes a battery last longer... significantly longer. Btw, you should turn off AI cens* when you upload a video (it has a checkbox). It makes it impossible to have any kind of conversation.

@@GedmisLaguna for your wrist, which is similar size to mine, maybe 38mm..but not sure..lug to lug is important here..37mm would be ideal😅 Also, nato adds a little bulk..for me, best for this watch would be a two piece canvas strap

No logo makes it more subtle. That's how true military watches should look - plane and simple. And no one gives a sh.. what brand you wear on your wrist anyway, because 90% of people never heard for any watch brand.

@@damyr that's why I said it works on this watch..but for me brand name or logo on the dial just looks better than sterile and give the watch some personality..no matter if it's a major or AE brand

I don't think it's a big problem unless you're doing specific physical work. For everyday or office use, it's not an issue. On the other hand, the bubble-like crystal has its own vintage charm and looks good.
